Soccer Star Aaron Ramsey Ups Reward for Missing Dog in Mexico to £15k
Wales athlete Aaron Ramsey has boosted the incentive for leads concerning the missing canine Halo to £15k.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff player, who now represents the Mexican club Pumas in the capital, mentioned that the beagle was last seen in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato region.
The beagle, who went missing on 9 October, was equipped with a GPS collar, and Ramsey posted a map pinpoint of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of updates regarding our pet Halo kindly contact us. Big incentive for locating her. We are all hoping she is safe and will return with us quickly," Ramsey wrote on social media.
Earlier Offer and Emotional Pleas
Ramsey first announced that his dog had gone missing a fortnight back and has subsequently shared several images of the beloved dog on Instagram.
A $ten thousand dollar incentive was originally announced, but with absence of information on Halo's status after a seven days, the player and his family increased the amount.
"Our only wish is our pet returned," he stated in a further request on his online platforms after the 10-year-old dog was lost.
A recent picture post is a grayscale image of Halo sleeping, her head resting in the curve of the athlete's arm, with the caption: "How I wish to cuddle you once more Halo."
Household's Anxieties and Background
The footballer has also circulated a message from his spouse Mrs. Ramsey on online channels mentioning they have several "pressing questions" surrounding the disappearance and worry the household "might not obtain explanations".
"We still are still searching for our dog. I fear we will," his wife's message read.
The Wales leader became part of Mexico's first division club Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and made his debut in Liga MX in August.
